Gwen Tennyson is a character in A League of My Own. She is the cousin of Ben Tennyson.

Appearance

Gwen appears as she did in Ben 10 (2005), a tan-skinned girl with green eyes and orange hair with a band in her hair to push her bangs to the side, a blue shirt with a light blue front that bears the dark blue logo of a cat's face on her chest, white pants, and white shoes with regions that are blue.

Personality

Gwen is shown to be somewhat frustrated at Ben, prone to bickering with him and questioning his desire to meet the Justice League. Despite the abrasiveness she shows Ben, Gwen has the same distaste for their grandfather's bizarre taste in food as he does.

• Being an ordinary human, Gwen has no natural abilities and is vulnerable to stronger opponents.

History

Gwen went on summer vacation with her grandfather Max Tennyson and her cousin Ben Tennyson, and would be a witness to Ben acquiring the Omnitrix, as well as the various encounters he faced over the course of the summer using its transformations.

One day, while exploring a Bazaar with Ben and Max in Nowhere, Kansas, she, alongside her family, would unexpectedly encounter Ben's idols, the Justice League, when Superman swept Max away to talk to him and Batman, while Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and Hawkgirl personally walked up to the two children, intending to take the Omnitrix out of a belief it could be used as a WMD.

Gwen stayed back, watching as Ben transformed into Diamondhead to defend himself against the other heroes, defeating several of them before then getting punched away by Wonder Woman. When Superman and Batman came down from the roof, Superman carrying Max and Hawkgirl, Gwen told them about the fight.

Once the fight was over, Gwen insisted that Hawkgirl apologize for starting the fight, only to get a backhanded remark, which Flash says is the best she can do. When Ben agrees to train with Wonder Woman, with Flash also helping out, the rest of the Justice League takes off. Before Superman leaves, he makes a remark about Max finding what he's looking for at Mount Rushmore. Gwen questions this comment, and Max replies that she will find out when they arrive there. Afterward, when Ben starts his training with Wonder Woman, only to collapse in exhaustion from their warm up burning him out, Gwen remarks that Ben's heart exploded.
