J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter is a character in A League of My Own. He is the last surviving Martian and a founding member of the Justice League.
History[]
J'onn J'onzz lived on Mars for many years, which was once a thriving world, with his wife M'yri'ah and his daughter K'hym. However, all that changed when the Imperium arrived. The Imperium assimilated the Martians' shapeshifting and wiped out all but J'onn, with not even his family surviving the attack. As the only one left, J'onn put the Imperium into stasis, then went into stasis himself.
An astronaut mission from Earth awakened the Imperium, leading them to infiltrate Earth. J'onn, also awakened, followed them, but was captured by humans and locked up in their military base. He would only escape when Superman and Batman discovered the facility and freed him, upon which he warned them of the Imperium. Taking on the identity of Martian Manhunter, he then sent a telepathic signal that summoned Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Hawkgirl. Together, they finally defeated the Imperium, avenging his peoples' deaths, leading to the birth of the Justice League.
Learning of the Omnitrix for the first time, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Hawkgirl would approach its wielder, Ben Tennyson, and his cousin Gwen, intending to take the Omnitrix, which they believed to be a WMD, while Superman took away their grandfather Max to talk to him and Batman in private. Martian Manhunter believed in Hawkgirl's concerns that the Omnitrix was dangerous as she grabbed Ben, but remained calm throughout the encounter. When Ben transformed into Diamondhead to fight back, Martian Manhunter put a hand on the Petrosapien's head and sent him a telepathic message trying to get him to stand down. However, the Omnitrix senses his intrusion and releases a pulse of energy, blasting the Martian into Wonder Woman's arms.
When Superman and Batman come down from the roof, with Superman carrying Max and Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter watches Gwen explain to them what had happened earlier and that Diamondhead was now fighting Wonder Woman on his own. The rest of the Justice League catches up after the battle ends when the Omnitrix times out, apologizing to Ben for the initial misunderstanding. After Ben agrees to train with Wonder Woman and Flash, Martian Manhunter flies off with the rest of the Justice League toward the Watchtower for further study of the Omnitrix.

- As a Martian, Martian Manhunter is naturally long-lived and has enhanced strength and durability. He also has the power to send telepathic messages into the thoughts of others, as well as being able to unleash telepathic attacks which disrupt his opponents' thoughts and can induce unconsciousness. Martian Manhunter can also shapeshift into other forms, his preferred form being a Martian with proportions similar to humans, fly, and shift his density to make himself intangible or as hard as a rock.

- Omnitrix: It prevented him from making telepathic contact with Ben Tennyson as Diamondhead.
- Fire: Martians are highly susceptible to fire, and if Martian Manhunter was near fire, he would collapse from the heat.
